In one of the conversations a user remarked that the problem with you technology guys is that you keep trying to change our behavior. You want us to do things differently cause you think they are cooler! We don’t want to change the way we send invites for our party. We don’t want to suddenly start sending invites over IM cause you think its instant. We took the advice seriously and set about building an event planning service that does not require a change in the way people send invites. We set about using technology to simplify the process. What is Delivery Central?
Delivery Central is based on the premise that people like the convenience of Free online invitations and the ease of collecting RSVP but do not wish to move away from the personal touch of printed invitations, phone calls and the occasional text (SMS) reminders. It allows you to send your event invitation over printed invites by post, over email, over phone and over SMS. The system helps you do all of that with a single interface. Selecting people, adding their address, choosing how they get their message, when they get their message. Our SmartAddressbook ensures that you dont have to enter the details again next time around. Once you have sent your invitation you can put your feet up and sit back watch the system do its magic. We send invitations over email, print, stamp and post your invites, auto dial your guests and play pre recorded invite in your voice and send reminders over mobile text ( SMS) at scheduled time. You can check in to your event dashboard and know exactly what the status of each message is, who viewed the invite who did not and how did they RSVP.
So not only can you send great invites, you get convenience and makes getting the guest list ready a breeze. We also ensure that the system is reliable and any hiccups in sending invites like wrong email id or out of home reply immediately get reported to you.
