This is the most creative way I’ve seen to incorporate buttons into home décor. March was button month and one crafty gal made these darling little button coaster from a bag of buttons she bought. It looks pretty easy to do. You’ll need:
• Several 4 hole buttons, all the same size and shape. How many you’ll need depends on how big you want your coaster to be. For this crafty blog she used 81 3/8 four hole buttons
• Three different colors of embroidery floss
• A needle (small enough to fit into your button holes)
• Scissors
• Patience and nimble fingers!

It’s important to start out by setting up the buttons in the coaster formation so you can see exactly how many buttons you’ll need. Follow the threading instructions and you’ll be on your way to making cute, colorful coasters!
