As summer approaches and the kids are out of school, you might just find yourself needing a day at the pool.  Even if you only have a kiddie pool to have some fun in the sun by, you can still create these delicious poolside drinks for the kids to enjoy.

Watermelon Coolers

Ingredients

  • 8 cups cubed seeded watermelon
  • 1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 6 ounce frozen lemonade concentrate thawed(1 can)
  • Mint sprigs  – optional

Preparation
Place watermelon in a large bowl; cover and freeze. Place half of frozen watermelon, half of powdered sugar, and half of concentrate in a blender, and process until smooth. Serve while cold. Do the same procedure with the other half of the ingredients.

Mango Madness

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mango slices
  • 1 dash white grape juice
  • 4 scoops vanilla frozen yogurt

Preparation

Combine the mango slices, grape juice and frozen yogurt in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Serves 1.

Lime Chiller

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1 quart water
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Preparation

In a large pitcher, stir together the lime juice, honey and water. Pour into tall, ice-filled glasses and garnish with lime wedges. Serves 5.
