The Wii game system was one of the hottest gifts last season.  So now that everyone has one, why not throw a Wii game night party?  Assemble your friends and family for the video game tournament of the year!  We’ve picked a few games that would be good for most any age spread.

Wii Sports

Get all your friends together and have a sports tournament. You can either pick just one sport or play them all in an “olympic” style tournament.  Ask your guests to bring their Wii remotes over if they have them.  Follow manufacturer instructions to temporarily program them to your Wii system.

Mario Kart

This game is challenging for everyone from children to adults.  Playing the game on 50 or 100 CC’s seems fairly easy, but bump it up to 150CC’s and suddenly even the most avid teen gamer is sweating and trying to get Mario and his buddies to win the race and get to the next level.  This is a great a game for a teenage birthday party.

Sing It

For the vocalist that lives in us all…Sing to 35 favorite songs and music videos from Disney artists and programs including Camp Rock, Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Aly and AJ and of course, High School Musical.   You can compete with and against friends in numerous multiplayer modes, including Duet, Versus and Team Play.  High School Musical star Olesya Rulin (Kelsi) acts as a vocal coach so you can practice tricky elements of singing in various vocal exercises.

Dancing With The Stars

You can become a ballroom dancer in the comfort of your sweatpants and your living room with this Wii game.  Do the mashed potatoe and stir it up with your favorite celebrities and dance professionals.  The game just wouldn’t be complete without the famous comentary of Bruno, Len and Carrie Ann.
Enjoy your night of singing, dancing, driving and sports games.  Wii would like to play too.

Thank you for choosing PurpleTrail.  Check out our online invitations for your next get together.
