Finding fun party games for kids parties can be difficult.  Especially if you are having a theme party! You want to plan a few things that will be fun for all the party goers and that stays in line with your chosen party theme. Rockstar Makeover

Start by purchasing a some inexpensive makeup for the girls to use (eyeshadow, lip stick etc.) As your guests arrive, move them into various stations where they can begin their transformation.  Set up a make up station, and outfit station, and a hairstyle.  Stock the outfit station with fun ‘rockstar’ clothing items: mini skirts, bright colored tights, feather boas, big belts, etc.) For the hair station, stock with a few Hannah Montana wigs, lots of brightly colored ribbons, combs for making big hair and of course hairspray!  You can even supply temporary tattoos to really create rockstars! It might be a good idea to recruit some helpers (parents or fun teenagers) to get the kids ready.

Karaoke

Now that you’ve helped your birthday party guests transform into rockstars, why not let them play the part and karaoke to their favorite songs.  If you don’t have a karaoke machine, consider getting one as a gift for the birthday star.  Your tween will surely use it after the party (think of the sleepover fun that is to be had!).  If you don’t want to purchase one, you can also rent them from your local karaoke shop.

Rockstar Bracelets

Let the kids create and wear these brightly colored bracelets to complete their look.  They can choose and create their own designs!
