If you’re hosting a dinner that is being served in a buffet-style format, I have a super cute and fun idea of how to decide which table goes first!

While setting up your decorations for the event, place one playing card at each table. You could put it in a simple picture frame to match your color choices, or simply place it on the table. You could include a simple card with the directions written in case your guests sit down before the directions are announced.

Have your DJ or MC announce the directions for the card draw. Make sure to give your DJ copies of the same playing cards that you have placed on the tables.

Have the DJ draw cards as the tables get dismissed. The tables will be excited when their card is drawn and can proceed to the buffet line!

This makes for an easy, fair and fun way for your guests to be served.  Have fun!
