As the guests arrive, pull them aside and ask them to fill out a suggested action for the the bride to do. Things like, “let someone practive doing your make up for the big day” After each guest has a chance to write in their suggestion, announce the twist! Things In A Bridesmaid’s Purse
Have players find a partner and sit together with their purses. Hand out the game seets and set a time limit. Then each player digs through their purse looking for the items on the list. The team with the most points in the end wins. You will be surprised at the crazy things people have in their purses!
This game will have the guests using their creativity for sure. Hand out a game sheet to each player. Let them know they have 5 minutes to think of a wedding or marriage related word for every letter of the alphabet. Suggested answer sheet included.
Advice for the BRIDE and GROOM
This game doubles as a nice keepsake for the couple. Print out an advice sheet for each guest. Consider printing them out on light cardstock. Ask the guests to fill out their cards with advice begining with each of the letters in the words bride and groom. The newlyweds will either have a laugh of get some genuinely good advice words of wisdom their friends and family have to offer.
This is a great game for a couples shower. Give one game sheet to each player and one game sheet to the couple. The couple fills out their sheet that will be used as the answer sheet. Then each player fills in the name of the person they think will be held responsible for the household chore once the couple is married! It’s fun to see what the real answers are compared to what everyone assumes to be true!
